The Bank of Pakistan is seeking dedicated and experienced professionals for the following position. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized in Pakistan.
- Preference: An Islamic Banking certification, degree, or diploma will be preferred.
- Experience: At least 06 months of experience specifically in a bank branch.
- Knowledge Areas: Proficiency in Operations, General Accounts, and SBP Regulations.
- Skills:
- Good time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing Branch affairs with regulatory compliance.
- Ensuring efficient and effective product processing whilst ensuring superior processing of products and relevant centralized / ADC functions.
- Adhering to banking laws, regulations, banking instructions, and SOPs, including Shariah tasks.
- Managing cash and other counter openings within the stipulated TAT, checking day-to-day transactions and ensuring minimum or zero processing errors.
- Authorizing daily financial and non-financial transactions of the branch after verification of genuineness.
- Arranging periodic reporting to all quarters.
- Ensuring vaults are opened and closed on time by following all required controls, and any discrepancies must be immediately reported in writing to the line management.
- Reconciliation of vaults, tokens, taxes, payable, receivable, fixed deposits, call deposits, and other GLs at the branch and confirming that the balance is available in these accounts.
