Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Job Summary:Responsible for smooth operations of Accounts, Finance and Taxation functions by ensuring compliance with IFRS/IAS, maintaining strong internal controls, overseeing financial reporting, taxation, budgeting and audit activities, and providing strategic financial insights to management.
Job Description:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and IAS.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely reporting to management.
- Manage the general ledger, chart of accounts, journal entries and financial reconciliations.
- Review and authorize bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations and intercompany balances.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and working capital plans.
- Perform financial analysis, ratio analysis and profitability assessments for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all the relevant fiscal & taxation laws including Income Tax and Sales Tax
- Ensure Compliance with Corporate and relevant laws and filing with SECP.
- Review submission of monthly Salex tax returns, withholding tax statements and other regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and respond to notices, audits and assessments from tax authorities.
- Lead internal and external audit engagements and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies and SOPs to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including aging analysis and recovery follow-up.
- Manage payroll accounting and ensure timely salary disbursements.
- Liaise with banks regarding financing arrangements, facilities, guarantees and routine banking matters.
- Supervise, mentor and develop accounting staff while ensuring high performance standards.
- Drive ERP and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Prepare management reports, board presentations and financial performance dashboards.
- Support strategic projects, business expansion initiatives and other assignments from senior management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the Accounts & Finance team.
- Review work performed by subordinate staff and provide coaching.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting deadlines.
Education:
- ACA / ACCA (Qualified) with 2–3 years post qualification experience of relevant experience in accounts, finance and taxation
Experience:
