As an
IT Compliance Manager at PwC Uruguay, you will be instrumental in building trust in society and solving important problems. This role is within the Internal Firm Services, specializing in Information Technology (IT) to ensure compliance with established standards and prepare teams for internal and external audits.
Responsibilities:
- Execute IT and quality control tests (design and operational effectiveness) to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Prepare teams for internal and external audits, ensuring that evidence is complete, validated, and correctly organized.
- Monitor, document, and follow up on gaps, deficiencies, and findings until their remediation and closure.
- Maintain updated compliance reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
- Continuously collaborate with IT, security, risk, and audit teams, providing support and responding to compliance inquiries.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in compliance, IT audit, ITGC testing, QMS testing, or risk management.
- Proven experience in end-to-end control testing (design and operational effectiveness).
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge in evidence management and audit preparation.
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and explain control requirements.
- Familiarity with control and compliance frameworks (e.g., ITGC, ISO, SOC).
- Understanding the importance of correct information management.
- Knowledge in information security and data protection.
