Role Overview:
This is a one-year locum post for a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a role as a locum Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon within the department of Surgical Oncology. The major purpose of this post is to strengthen plastic and reconstructive surgery services at the hospital. The post-holder will be expected to work with and support the established multidisciplinary site-specific teams. He/she will be responsible for operating, treating and caring primarily for patients with malignant neoplastic conditions with emphasis on reconstructive procedures involving skin, soft tissues, breast and bone.
The post is based primarily at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore, Pakistan.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Full Registration with the PMDC.
- FRCS with sub specialization in plastic and reconstructive surgery or equivalent.
- American board of surgery with sub specialization in plastic and reconstructive surgery or equivalent.
- Full Registration with the PMDC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
