Role Overview:
This is a full time post based primarily at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar, Pakistan, where we seek a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as a full time Consultant Radiologist. The appointee is expected to have expertise in all aspects of Radiology, but with specific expertise and interest in ultrasonography, cross-sectional body imaging, women-s imaging, PET-CT or interventional radiology. Site specialization is imperative in the development of these services.
The major purpose of this post is to strengthen and develop Radiology services at the hospital. The individual is expected to work with radiographers, staff and managers to ensure that established quality assurance and quality practice guidelines and standards are maintained.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- FRCR (UK) with CCST in Radiology, with three years- experience in the UK.
- American Boards in Radiology. Post-residency fellowship in a branch of Radiology would be an advantage.
- FCPS in Radiology with three years of subsequent overseas experience in a recognised institution.
- Full Registration with the PMDC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
