Description:

Indus University, Karachi (Academics) has announced job vacancy of Porter at Housekeeping & Laundry department.

The job responsibilities of Porter at Academics are:
• Maintain assigned areas including classrooms, laboratories, patient units, and common spaces in a clean and organized manner according to the directives provided by the supervisor.
• Complete clean turnovers and make-readies for vacant patient units and other spaces as directed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting and cleaning light fixtures and equipment in designated areas.
• Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, their families, and university staff.
• Assist with the collection and disposal of trash and waste materials in assigned areas.
• Remove and prepare soiled laundry from floors for washing and ensure it is handled in accordance with safety and hygiene protocols.

Qualification:

• Matriculation

Experience:
• At least 1-2 year of prior work experience preferred. Ability to read and write.
