Key Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Data Analyst role is to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data to support strategic decision-making, operational
efficiency, and business performance improvement. The role is responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights, reports,
dashboards, and recommendations that help management make informed decisions.
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems and sources.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations for management.
- Interpret trends, patterns, and business performance indicators to provide actionable insights.
- Support departments in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Prepare periodic analytical reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of organizational data.
- Perform data mining, forecasting, and statistical analysis as required.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities through data analysis.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define reporting and analytics requirements.
- Monitor data quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support ERP, CRM, Campus Management Systems, or other enterprise applications with analytical reporting.
- Create ad-hoc reports and presentations based on management requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive organizational data.
- Document data models, reporting procedures, and analytical methodologies.
- Stay updated with modern analytics tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Qualification:Essential Qualifications
16-year Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from HEC recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable Qualifications
- 18-years degree in relevant discipline.
- Certifications or training in Data Analysis & Reporting, SQL & Database Management, Microsoft Excel Advanced Functions, Business Intelligence Tools.
Experience:
Essential Experience
¦ 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
¦ Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
¦ Experience in preparing dashboards and management reports.
Desirable Experience
¦ Experience with ERP, CRM, HRMS, or Campus Management Systems.
¦ Experience in higher education, corporate, or enterprise environments.
¦ Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
¦ Experience in data visualization and KPI monitoring.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.
