Eligibility / Qualification Required:

Batterjee Medical College is seeking a dedicated and clinically experienced Clinical Instructor – Radiological Sciences to join the Radiological Sciences Program. The successful candidate will provide clinical instruction and mentorship to students during laboratory sessions, simulation training, and clinical rotations, ensuring they develop the knowledge, technical skills, and professional competencies required for a successful career in medical imaging.

This role bridges classroom learning with hands-on clinical practice while supporting the college's commitment to academic excellence, patient safety, and high-quality healthcare education.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Teaching & Student Supervision

  • Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations, laboratory sessions, and simulation-based learning.
  • Demonstrate radiological procedures, imaging techniques, and best clinical practices.
  • Assess students' clinical competencies using structured evaluation methods.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic and professional development.
  • Ensure students adhere to patient safety, radiation protection, infection control, and professional standards.
  • Support students in developing clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Utilize educational technologies and simulation tools to enhance learning.

Academic Support

  • Participate in student assessment and evaluation activities.
  • Prepare and submit clinical evaluations, attendance records, grades, and required academic reports.
  • Contribute to annual course and program reports.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of clinical education and teaching methodologies.

Clinical Excellence & Quality

  • Promote safe, ethical, and evidence-based clinical practice.
  • Ensure clinical training environments meet institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Support initiatives that enhance patient experience and clinical service quality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical operations and student learning experiences.

Professional & Institutional Contribution

  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, projects, and quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with faculty members, clinical partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences.
  • Support community outreach and health awareness activities organized by the college.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiological Sciences, Medical Imaging, or a related discipline.
  • Valid professional license/registration (where applicable).

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in Radiological Sciences or Medical Imaging.
  • Previous teaching or clinical supervision experience is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and clinical practices.
  • Understanding of radiation safety principles and quality standards.
