Description:

Code Inpatient/Outpatient and day care discharges using coding classification and TIH guidelines
· Prepare standard reports from coded / abstract data provided
· Participates in clinical audit meetings to enhance accuracy of coding and rectifies anomalies in the existing abstract
· To overlook and ensure the proper functioning of all units of EMR.
· Monthly update daycare and inpatient discharges report
· Monthly update discharges report on the basis of specialty
· Monthly update all reports related to Data Management unit of EMR
· Trace and code backlog discharges
· Any other task that is assigned by the Head / Assistant Manager coding
· Responsible to do QC of Coders and Sr. Coders
· Train juniors in ICD-10 and any other new upcoming trainings

Qualification:

• Masters in Physiology/ MSc In Biological Sciences & Training Of Icd-9 And 10 Coding

Experience:
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
